Andrew Gadd has practiced and taught Traditional Thai Massage since been trained in Bangkok in 2001. Andrew is an experienced holistic therapist offering Thai massage and Reiki.
Traditional Thai massage is an ancient healing system that combines both broad as well as targeted acupressure for stimulation and manipulation of the body’s energy lines called Sen and then followed with assisted yoga postures.
Treatment effects can be enhanced when the client is relaxed and breathing slowly but deeply.
Traditional Thai massage requires no oils or lotions and the client remains fully clothed throughout the treatment. There is constant body contact between the practitioner and client, but rather than just rubbing on muscles, the body is compressed, pulled, stretched and rocked in order to clear energy blockages and relieve tension.
The practitioner uses their thumbs, palms, forearms, elbows, knees and even feet to create a relaxed and overall improvement on the movement of clients’ body. In this process joints are opened, muscles and tendons are stretched, internal organs are toned and overall energy is re-balanced. This overall effect is to support deep relaxation, rejuvenation, physical and an improved mental wellbeing.

Reiki
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" while fully dressed and is based on the idea of an unseen "life force energy".
The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - Rei which means "God's Wisdom or the Higher Power" and Ki which is "life force energy". So Reiki is actually "spiritually guided life force energy."
Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing. Reiki works on a higher emotional level than some forms of energy healing.
Reiki is a simple, natural and safe method of healing and self-improvement that everyone can use. It works in conjunction with most other medical or therapeutic techniques with little or no long term side effects and promotes overall recovery.
